ANNOUNCEMENT – January 20, 2009:

Pleasant St. Press is placing a moratorium on unsolicited manuscript submissions until further notice. As such, any submissions postmarked after February 15, 2009 will be recycled.

Our sincerest gratitude goes out to the countless writers who entrust their work with Pleasant St. Press. At this time we need to refocus our efforts toward our upcoming lists and immediate future lists, as well as address the large number of submissions to which we have yet to respond.

Please be assured that manuscripts previously received, and those submitted between now and February 15, 2009, will be given full consideration.

ILLUSTRATORS:

Please send resume, cover letter, and samples by regular mail only. We are seeking a myriad of styles, but please no photography. Also, please be sure your artwork is suited for children's picture books! Materials will be kept on file, so please do not send originals.
